VALERIE "VAL" TRAN is one of the new main characters introduced in Cman710's upcoming fanfiction SCREAM 8. She is described as the "lead" of the new teens. She is portrayed by actress Katie Chang.

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY[]
Valerie Tran, or "Val" to her closest friends is a bright, smart young woman and a junior at the local high school: Sunny Shores High. Strong and confident, this beauty is one of the few STAB fans the world has left, and sees role models in real-life heroes Sidney Prescott and Trevor Riley. However, as a brutal series of murders begin to plague her hometown, Collins County, she finds herself forced to put her extensive STAB knowledge to the test. Unsure of who to trust on the dwindling suspect list, Val can't help but feel nervous of a possible, dark connection to a tragic event a year before. One which she seemingly knows more about than meets the eye.
